Have any of your dept. recieved a grant? How much did you ask for and how much did you recieve? What are you going to use the money for?

We just recieved $30,000 grant to buy gear. We had requested $50,000 to buy 30 full sets but DHS didn'y think that we really needed all that gear. :/

Yeah this is the first year we have had "luck" I guess some money is better than none though. We are putting in for a truck this year.

We did receive a SAFER grant last year though.  We usually put in for extrication equip, SCBA, LDH hose, brush trucks, etc.

we have been pretty successful over the years. new gear,portables,truch,and it looks like scba. also got a tic from cedap and a station from usda

I got Turnout Gear and SCBA for Buckner a couple years ago.
Just got Turnout Gear for Coello this year, all funded within the first 3 rounds every year.

2009 we are asking for and SCBA fill station, compressor and cascade. WE may also be asking for a brush truck. Trying for a grant from the state on a station now.
